AMD today announced the appointment of Forrest Norrod as Executive Vice President and General Manager of AMD's Data Center Solutions Business Group. This appointment reflects his leadership and market growth during his tenure at AMD, as well as the strategic role of the data center business in the company's continuous growth strategy.

Norrod joined AMD in 2014 and prior to this appointment, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Data Center Solutions Business Group. He has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry in various engineering and business management roles at both the chip and system levels.
