Twitter users began to report that their own tweets began to display view counters. On December 1, Elon Musk promised to launch this feature and added that it will appear "in a few weeks" - he did not deceive.

For some users of the social network, the view counter is shown when opening a record on a separate page, and this only applies to their own tweets - statistics of other people's publications are not displayed. The information on views on Twitter itself has not been closed for a long time - you can see it by clicking on the "View tweet analytics" link on a separate post page. Now you do not need to click anywhere, because the number of views is displayed immediately.

It is not yet clear whether this option to display statistics will remain as it is, or whether users will be able to see the number of views on other people's tweets. When Elon Musk talked about the launch of the feature, he said that the views will be shown in the same way as with the video - and there it is public information that all users see.

Recently, Twitter users voted by a majority to remove Mr. Musk from the post of CEO of the company. He confirmed his willingness to do so, but only after finding "someone stupid enough to do the job."
